So the last thing I'm going to recommend is anything that stretches your capacity too thin. Being active on all social channels will be underserving, unsuitable and downright unproductive. Instead, double down on where your audience hangs out, and on your strengths.
And sales doesn't have to be just a numbers game, if you do it right.
Social + Content
You can't have a social media strategy without first talking about a content strategy. I start with a content initiative and work our way down.
I believe that stories win + that, to win in 2018, you'll have to have + voice your opinions. Let's stop simply sharing others' content and instead have a conversation.
When you hire me, I use the word "our" not "your" in my emails and conversations to describe the project and brand because I operate as an extension of your team...as if I were your colleague who's paid on company salary, and I expect the same from you.
In order for me to do my best work, marketing + sales have to be happily married. And I aim to become best friends with the marketing team and ask for full transparency when it comes to all sales initiatives.
I am far more successful for you when I'm treated like an insider.
My clients hire me to provide recommendations + to have an opinion. They ask me what I think + how I would do things differently. Then we pull the trigger together.
